A metal box carrying those blue-skinned cartoon munchkins was recently selling for nearly $1,000 on a lunchbox Web site, according to a Wall Street Journal article.

So what pop culture artifacts of today will be tomorrow’s prized collectible? That’s something that executives at Geppi’s Entertainment Museum hope to teach the public once the attraction opens July 2006.”
