"VIENNA (AFP) — Pope Benedict XVI is providing moral support to Austrian Catholics during Lent with an encouraging SMS on their mobile phones.

Faithful who sign up for the new SMS service, launched Wednesday by the Roman Catholic Church in Austria, will receive daily quotes from the Church leader during the 40 days of Lent to help them survive the traditional fasting period leading up to Easter."

Mark Cuban Blog

Okay, this post has nothing to do with inspirational posters... (but go and buy one dammit!)

I just finished watching 'The Apprentice' tonight and was feeling a bit bummed by Donald Trump jumping on the guy (Bradford) for offering himself up as a sacrificial lamb (while feeling safe) to be butchered for the sake of television ratings, or hey - have some confidence in your abilities and pay the price to the power holders...

Okay, - I was watching Apprentice (I don't think Cuban likes Trump - but maybe I'm wrong) instead of the Benefactor, but the damn TV guide was screwed up here in Canada - no, wait that's a lie, but I'm still not sure when it's actually on - FIRE the Canadian marketing team!

Anyway, I jumped on to read the blogs - and I have to admit I started reading Mark Cuban's Blog before I even knew about the Benefactor - and was struck by the completely diametric view that Mr. Cuban has than Mr. Trump. I've been impressed by Mark Cuban's openess in his posts on the Blog Maverick (he is a little extreme in his passion for basketball - but that's OK), and his willingness to participate in this new media.

Musings....

So, I decide to peruse the AllPosters catalog of Inspirational Posters and have a closer look at a great looking moon night poster named "Contemplation". Nice... and it's BIG! 55" x 39" inches. Great for my bedroom if I was single again, and in my twenties, and didn't have kids and a mortgage, and... anyway...

The interesting part is the "Customers also Bought" suggestions below. Hmmmm, customers also bought "Atom Bomb" (it's BIG too). I know I'm becoming inspired to start my own nuclear program, so I'll click through to see the larger image (that is a great mushroom cloud)- oh yeah, it's cool. Okay, "Customers also Bought" - Pulp Fiction and Blow. Have to laugh, what is that - two degrees of separation from a contemplative moon shot to atom bombs to hitmen and cocaine?
