With a release date of June, 2005 the buzz is building around Batman Begins starring Christian Bale, Ken Watanabe, Cillian Murphy, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine . The film is directed by Christopher Nolan.

Excerpt from Greg’s Preview Thoughts from Yahoo! Movies, dated 7/29/04:
“…If there wasn’t a superhero logo or a flash of a Batman mask at the end, you would probably peg this teaser as being more for a supernatural thriller or horror movie than a traditional “superhero” movie. …As expected, Christopher Nolan has apparently tapped into a completely different spirit than any of the previous films.”

The Chicago Sun-Times ran an interview with Christian Bale on Batman Begins on November 19, 2004, and one of his comments was:

“Our Batman is centered on the early days. It’s an explanation. It’s certainly not Batman No. 5,” he promises. “It’s a reinvention. We want you to forget there has ever been a Batman before this one.”
