‘War’ production update: Virginia
The cast and crew of “War of the Worlds” spent a number of days this past week in Rockbridge County, Virginia shooting a big change of scenery from the here-to-fore urban/suburban look of “War of the Worlds.” A number of sequences taking place in a rural farm area were shot on three adjoining farms in the Rockbridge county area of the state. From the reports coming out of the region, work seemed to center on a key location that took place in a farmhouse that the production renovated and enlarged for the shoot. The farmhouse is nestled in a scenic valley surrounded by hills (a safe respite from the aliens temporarily?)”
