Batman Begins is slated for a June 17, 2005 release in theatres…

The hot selling movie poster is available in a few styles from the following poster dealers:

MovieGoods has a Batman Begins DS 1 Sheet – International Style A movie poster for $199.99, a DS 1 Sheet Advance Style A 2005 for $79.99, a French 16″ x 21″ – Folded 2005 for $39.99, and a DS British Quad 30″ x 40″ – Style A for $49.99. These are all original movie posters.

Rick’s Movie has an International Advance Reprint One Sheet Poster for $18.00, and an Original Advance B One Sheet Poster for $35.00 (the poster details say this a reprint).

AllPosters has Batman Begins – International Version (27 in x 40 in) for $19.99. and a 27 in x 40 inch Double-sided poster for $24.99. Neither of these posters indicate if they are originals or reprints, however.

Sahara, starring Matthew McConaughey and Penelope Cruz, has an April 8th release date. It’s based on a Clive Cussler novel featuring his Dirk Pitt character.

Lords of Dogtown? Just flashed on the radar… Heath Ledger – okay, ah – Rebecca De Mornay (just an aside, always had a thing for her since Risky Business – I guess that dates this editor). She’s probably playing someone’s mother now… **sigh**

What’s it about? After reading the synopsis on Yahoo! Movies, I am familiar with the plotline, based on a true story(s)- and it’s a film based on a documentary (go figure):

“In the 1970s, a group of teenage surfers from a tough neighborhood known as “Dogtown” in Venice, CA pioneered a revolutionary new style of skateboarding. Riding the waves at the Pacific Ocean pier, the Z-Boys, known for their aggressive style and hard street attitude, combined the death-defying moves of surfing with the art of skateboarding and became overnight sensations and local legends. With empty pools as their canvas, the Z-boys paved the way to what is now referred to as “extreme sports,” and created a lifestyle that spread infectiously to become a worldwide counterculture phenomenon…”
