Seems Dreamworks is in a little trouble with the investment community for overstating expected earnings from the Shrek 2 DVD sales.
They’re banking on Madagascar to pull them out of the fire ( ah, the fine dance of money, movies and art/animation)…
Opening this Friday, May 27th, 2005 comes this from Yahoo! Movies, Summer Movie Guide about why you should plunk those hard earned dollars down and save Dreamworks:
“Three Good Reasons
- It’s the latest in the string of computer animated hits from Dreamworks after last year’s “Shrek 2″ and “Shark Tale.”
- Voice actors who are serious about being funny: Chris Rock, Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett-Smith, David Schwimmer and Cedric the Entertainer.
- The commando penguins look to be the breakout stars of the summer.”
Cast: Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer, Jada Pinkett Smith
Directed by: Eric Darnell, Tom McGrath
