The Life and Hard Times of Guy Terrifico Movie Poster

A comedy / mockumentary that traces the rise and fall of a fictional country singer named Guy Terrifico from Alliance Atlantis. Supposedly it opened February 1, 2005 – you’ll probably have to look for it at the video store.

This foreign language drama (Hebrew and Yiddish with English subtitles) had it’s North American Premiere on April 26th, 2005 at the Tribeca Film Festival. It’s official release was on October 19th, 2005 in New York.

According to Greg’s Previews “The film is reportedly the first made by members of the Israeli ultra-Orthodox community that is aimed at a general audience.”

Well, they’re flogging this franchise for all it’s worth. The third installment of Final Destination will appear in theatres on February 10, 2006 from Newline Cinema.

James Wong also directed the first Final Destination. After looking at his filmography, the man has a diverse range of talents – his credits range from director, producer, writer, and actor to music credits on a variety of movies.

There’s a new Walk the Line – 1 Sheet – Style A poster available now. The film opened last weekend on November 18th, and came in 2nd in box office earnings behind Harry Potter.

It looks like the weekend opening of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire will vault it into the top five for box office opening weekend earnings. Yahoo! Movies is showing an estimate of over $100 million from 3858 theatres. Looks like a big win for Warner Brothers and producers Chris Columbus, Mark Radcliffe, and David Heyman.
