Hoping to build on his recent success in Ghost Rider, Nicolas Cage returns in another sci-fi thriller about a Vegas con artist with the ability to see the future who has to stop a terrorist attack. Julianne Moore and Jessica Biel also star. The movie is based on the Philip K. Dick story “The Golden Man.”

“Next” opened this past Friday on April 27, 2007 from Paramount Pictures. From the weekend box office estimates, it looks like it opened in third place, with “Disturbia” retaining the top spot for the third weekend in a row.
