Playing on the controversy of fear and prejudice in a post 9/11 America, “Civic Duty” follows Terry Allen, an accountant who is angry and depressed over losing his job. He begins to suspect that his new neighbor, a single Islamic grad student with a penchant for unexplained late night activities, is at the center of a terrorist conspiracy.
