We’re going to make Wednesdays a look at the top movie searches on Yahoo! (if we can remember to keep blogging it). Excited? We thought so…

Yahoo! lists the top twenty, along with a number of days on the chart. To save some typing, we’re going to look at the top ten. So in that spirit, let the list begin.

Topping the list for today is Iron Man. Unfortunately, we don’t have any posters to flog for it yet, but we can say that Robert Downey Jr. plays our favorite Marvel metal man, and the movie boasts a nice lineup with co-stars Terrence Howard, Gwyneth Paltrow, Jeff Bridges, Samuel L. Jackson, and Hilary Swank. Iron Man is set for a release on May 2, 2008.

The number two position is grabbed by Indiana Jones 4, which benefits from the announcement of the actual title at the MTV Music video awards which is Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Holding the record for most days on the chart is Batman, which has been there for almost three years.

Opening November 9, 2007 from MGM, Robert Redford directs and stars in “Lions for Lambs”.

Derek Luke and Michael Pena play two determined students at a West Coast University, who follow the inspiration of their idealistic professor, Dr. Malley (Redford), and attempt to do something important with their lives. They end up joining the battle in Afghanistan, a decision that both concerns and moves the professor.

Their story intertwines with that of a Presidential hopeful, Senator Jasper Irving (Tom Cruise), who is about to give a bombshell story to a probing TV journalist (Meryl Streep) that may affect Arian and Ernest’s fates.

Shia LaBeouf, one of the stars of the upcoming latest installment of one of the all time great action adventure series, spilled the beans last night at the MTV Music Video Awards, stating that Indiana Jones 4 will be called Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

George Lucas and director Steven Spielberg are in production right now, with a release date from Paramount Pictures of May 22, 2008 – Memorial Day. Harrison Ford will be back in the lead after 19 years since the last Indie – Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Unfortunately, Sean Connery couldn’t be coaxed out of retirement, but Ford will be joined by Cate Blanchett, Ray Winstone, Karen Allen, John Hurt, and Jim Broadbent.
