Carrie Fisher Wishful Drinking

All right, all you Star Wars fan boys – still nursing a crush for Princess Leia? Carrie Fisher is currently out promoting her new bio, “Wishful Drinking“, a wickedly funny autobiography that grew out of her one-woman play that deals with drug addiction, mental illness and being the product of “Hollywood in-breeding.”

It’s reported that some of the stories of course involve some interesting moments with other Star Wars actors as well as ancedotes about her decidedly strange family.

A quote from the book: “So now, will you come on a journey with me? We’re going to start at death, but then we’re going to double back and go all the way through an emergency room (where they know me), through Watergate, back through Vietnam to birth. My birth.”

Fisher, now 52, and the daughter of old time stars Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, first played Leia at age 19 in the original Star Wars. Wow – it’s actually been that long…

Mena Suvari as Sandy Murphy

Mena Suvari stars in the TV movie “Sex and Lies in Sin City: The Ted Binion Scandal” which is based on the true story of about the death of wealthy Las Vegas casino heir Ted Binion (played by Matthew Modine) at the hands of his lover and her con-artist boyfriend. The Lifetime movie premiered this week.

As there were several lawsuits about the trials pending at the time of the filming, Suvari had to be careful about how she delivered every line of dialogue.

Suvari’s credits include “American Beauty“, “American Pie“, “The Garden of Eden”, “Day of the Dead” and TV roles in “Six Feet Under,” “ER” and “Boy Meets World.”

Patrick Wilson

Patrick Wilson, who will be appearing with a star studded cast in “Evening” (which will see a limited release in June, 2007), just recently completed two other films in 2007 – “Passengers” ( which is in post-production) and “Life in Flight”.

Wilson was born on July 3, 1973 in Norfolk, Virginia and his theatrical work has garnered him numerous nominations and awards. He is married and has a young son. His film work includes:
