This one is an older story from earlier this year, but is appropriate given that the latest incarnation of both James Bond and the movie “Casino Royale” opens next month (November, 2006):

“March 16 (Bloomberg) — At Christie’s International, a mystery buyer paid 10,200 pounds (US $18,900) for “Casino Royale” film posters, nearly treble their valuation. He bought about 60 lots in the first two hours of a London sale yesterday.
The six door-sized posters for the 1967 James Bond film, featuring gun-toting women, had a top estimate of 3,500 pounds. The buyer, who was unfamiliar to dealers and collectors in the room, paid 3,600 pounds (US $6700) for a “Goldfinger” poster, five times the top estimate.”
