Sharing the top spot in the coin category with realized prices of US $2,990,000 are:
A 1787 DBLN Brasher New York Style Doubloon. EB Punch on Breast. XF45 NGC which Heritage called “the single most important coin in American numismatics.”
and
A 1907 Ultra High Relief, $20 Lettered Edge PR69 PCGS, a Proof High Relief Double Eagle which they say is the only PR69 in existence.
