Entertainment and Music Memorabilia Auction

Entertainment and Music Memorabilia Auction

Apr 2, 2005 | Auctions, Collectibles, Online Auctions

Heritage Galleries & Auctioneers (HGA) will offer a treasure trove of music and entertainment memorabilia in their upcoming Signature auction to be held April 21 & 22 in their Dallas, Texas headquarters. Bidding on this and all other pieces in the 2005 April Music Memorabilia Auction is open now at www.HeritageGalleries.com.

“There really is something here for everyone,” said Doug Norwine, Director of HGA’s Music and Entertainment auctions. “For the movie collectors out there, we’re also offering a great collection of screen-worn goodies, including Gloria Swanson’s dress from Sunset Boulevard, Errol Flynn’s coat from Captain Blood, Humphrey Bogart’s jacket from The Caine Mutiny, (complete with steel worry balls!) and an authentic Freddy Krueger razor glove from Nightmare on Elm Street!

However, for the collector who has everything, we’re also offering the operational submarine from the 1977 James Bond Film The Spy Who Loved Me. Sorry, the torpedoes are not included, but bragging rights are!

“Collectors of music memorabilia haven’t been forgotten,” enthused Norwine. “Where else are you going to find John Lennon’s piano, last auctioned by Yoko Ono, and now offered here? Buddy Holly’s banjo, formerly on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is another great piece, as is the Rolling Stones’ Grammy Award for Voodoo Lounge.”
