Collectibles Celebration: Hake’s Closes Strong
Auctions/Prices, Scoop

“Hake’s Americana closed the first day of their Summer Auction with strong sales across the board. Political memorabilia, always a strong area in every Hake’s Auction, once again proved it’s strength in the collector’s marketplace. Pinbacks were hot, but it was this item from 1844 featuring Henry Clay that may be the most interesting sale of the day. As exciting as the $4,406.86 received for the bandana was, it was by no means the only highlight.”
