“MILWAUKEE (AP) — A 1954 Milwaukee Braves jersey worn by then-rookie Hank Aaron will be auctioned in June, a move some experts believe could fetch as much as $250,000.
The sale of the flannel road jersey, which has been authenticated, will be handled in New York City by auction houses Sotheby’s and SCP Auctions.
The jersey might be the only one of its kind, said David Kohler, president of SCP Auctions in Laguna Hills, Calif., which specializes in sports memorabilia.”
