Heritage Comics just completed a recent comic book auction with some of the following highlights:

Marvel Comics #1 (Timely, 1939) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Cream to off-white pages. Realized: $161,000
More Fun Comics #53 Mile High pedigree (DC, 1940) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages. Realized: $77,625
– Wally Wood – Weird Science #14 Cover Original Art (EC, 1952). Realized: $56,350
Motion Picture Funnies Weekly #1 Pay Copy (First Funnies, Inc., 1939) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Cream to off-white pages. Realized: $43,125
Superman Comics #nn Ashcan (DC, 1939) CGC VF/NM 9.0 Off-white pages. Realized: $37,375

Their next auction is scheduled for January 20-21, 2006. From their promotional material:
