Profiles In History (www.profilesinhistory.com just completed a recent auction of Hollywood memorabilia, and reports some of the highlights from their recent sale, with the top items being mostly Star Wars related:

“Our July 29th auction brought nearly $2 million, as collectors scrambled to bid on some of the finest Film and Television artifacts to be offered at public auction in many years.

Some of the auction highlights include:
– Luke Skywalker hero light saber from Star Wars. Sold for $200,600.00
– Darth Vader hero lightsaber from Star Wars. Sold for $118,000.00
– Harrison Ford signature leather jacket from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Sold for $94,400.00
– Luke’s X-Wing flight suit from Star Wars. Sold for $70,080.00
– Original screen-used Stormtrooper blaster from Star Wars. Sold for $56,500.00”
