NEW YORK (AP) – Pop artist Roy Lichtenstein’s Sinking Sun and Willem de Kooning’s Untitled XVI have both sold for almost $15.7 million US.
The two paintings tied for top lot at Sotheby’s contemporary art auction Wednesday evening, the auction house said.”
