N.C. company auctions Lincoln collectibles

“A North Carolina company that markets historical collectibles is selling items with ties to the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, including a letter written by an eyewitness to the tragedy.

“These pieces are very rare, but the one-of-a-kind letter is extremely rare,” said Ryan Raynor of Raynor’s Limited Edition Historical Collectible Auctions in Graham.

The letter is being sold along with a ticket to Ford’s Theatre in Washington that the witness or his wife used the night Lincoln was assassinated.”
