Next weekend might be considered the Woodstock of movie poster collecting. Well, not quite, but it’s a pretty big deal.
…On Friday, Waddington’s is offering a goodly cross-section of some 250 vintage posters on travel, fashion and advertising themes, as well as Art Deco and Art Nouveau posters.
…But some serious film historical business can be found buried deep in all this nostalgia, when Ritchies offers a number of vintage posters of Casablanca, one by the sought-after French commercial artist Pierre Pigeot.”
