“Every person on the planet is a collector to a certain degree. The world of sports collectibles isn’t enjoyed only by the fans. Sometimes the players collect autographs or memorabilia as well.

The Flyers signed the biggest-name free agent this season in Peter Forsberg. In 1991 he was drafted by the Flyers and then traded to the Quebec Nordiques in the Eric Lindros deal. At the time his 1991-92 Upper Deck rookie card (No. 64) was popular, but now it is likely to increase in value (even though there were high production numbers).”
