“Ex-White Sox player ‘Shoeless’ Joe Jackson’s ‘Black Betsy’ bat went up for auction Saturday — but it turned out to be a swing and a miss.
There were hopes the bat could fetch more than a half-million dollars. But auction officials said no buyer was found.”
