There’s a collector out there for just about anything you can think of – doorknobs, fountain pens, even T-shirts from rock concerts. A book called “Trash or Treasure Guide to the Best Buyers” by Tony Hyman lists 2,200 different categories of collectibles, from Abbott and Costello items to Zippo cigarette lighters.

…Collectibles expert Jan Mink names nine nifty things that could be worth more than you think:

  • Pez dispensers
  • Pocket calculators
  •  Pots and pans
  • Baseball gloves
  • Bicycles
  •  Cigar boxes
  • Vases
  • Costume jewelry
  • Fishing tackle
