Are antiques good investments? Bonnie Kidd’s Navajo rug proves they can be.
The Rochester Hills native purchased the 5-by-7-foot rug at DuMouchelle Galleries in 1972. She fell in love with it and remembers paying $250 for it.
…Boos says a similar Yei rug sold at Christies in New York recently, and the market continues to grow.
“You’ve got yourself a $3,000-$4,000 rug here,” he says. “This is very collectible and in great condition…”
