FALLS CHURCH, Va. – A stop at a suburban Maryland home to pickup books for auction resulted in the discovery of a Chinese snuff bottle collection, which later yielded a small fortune with bidders contending from around the world.
Thirty-nine bottles brought more than $218,000 on June 9 at Quinn”s Auction Galleries in Falls Church. One rare bottle alone sold for $146,250.”
