Collectibles: Catalogs worth more than the paper they’re printed on

“Would you pay $500 or better for an automobile sales catalog? A rabid, well-heeled collector would.

People who love cars are crazy about anything that comes with them, and that includes those sales catalogs you get at a dealership and toss in the trash later.

…The highest prices, as you might expect, are claimed by the catalogs for classic luxury cars such as Packard, Buick, Cadillac, Lincoln and Pierce Arrow.”
