“Ben Franklin’s 300th birthday makes him a hot collectibles commodity in 2006. Here’s a look at what else you should be buying or selling.

…Exhibitions dedicated to late 15th and early 16th century Italy will make museums magnets for a 21st century trend toward Renaissance collecting.

…For those who prefer contemporary collectibles, expect antique and vintage children’s books from the late 19th and early 20th centuries to be red hot with collectors in 2006.

…Other collectibles of the future include Bob the Builder toys and Coca-Cola items from the early 1900s to the present.”
