The online auction company ended the year with 56.1 million active users, up 36% from 41.2 million a year ago. Total payment volume transacted through eBay’s PayPal system rose 55% last year to $18.9 billion, up from $12.2 billion in 2003.

New listings of products for sale reached a record 404.6 million in Q4, up 39% from 291.7 million in the same quarter a year ago.”
