“A humble cheese sandwich with an image of the Virgin Mary apparently burnt into it sold for $28,000 on eBay.Jim DeFede gave the public a chance to test their faith when he escorted the ‘icon’ to its new home in Las Vegas…
I am on a mission, a holy quest. A few weeks ago, a woman from Hollywood, Florida sold a grilled cheese sandwich on the auction website eBay for $28,000. The woman says the sandwich is 10 years old… and bears the likeness of the Virgin Mary.”
