ALBURTIS, Pa. – The myTableware.com Web site was spawned from a local antiques store owned by Paul Sarver Sr. It became what it is today – a million-dollar-a-year international business in Alburtis – after Sarver was joined by his computer-savvy son, Paul Sarver Jr.
Since then, the Sarvers have been selling china, primarily discontinued and vintage patterns, throughout the United States and to places like Iceland and Russia over the Internet. Although they have launched their own, stand-alone Web site, the Sarvers got their start on the online auction house eBay, and that is still where they do most of their business.”
