“A 1930 proof penny is destined to sell for more than $1 million within five years, according to rare coin dealer Belinda Downie.
‘A sale of $620,000 really does say something about the investment potential of the industry, but it’s much more than the investment aspect,’ Ms Downie says.
…The coin dealer says only six 1930 proof pennies were ever struck. Three are housed in public institutions and the others are in the hands of private collectors.”
