Collectors quench thirst for rare finds

“For Harrisburg resident Jay Herbine, collecting beer cans is a win-win hobby. In order to add a can to his collection, Herbine has to empty the contents first.

‘You get to sample a lot of different beers to empty the current collectibles,’ he said.

… “Last year, a can from an Ohio brewery was sold for $19,000,” Kogoy said. “Rarity and condition make the pieces valuable.””
