It didn’t cost a lot but now much of it is as valuable as real jewelry,’ he said, adding he was talking about costume jewelry made in the 1950s and ’60s.
‘Jewelry is highly collectible, all kinds of genres and styles. Costume jewelry often exceeds the value of the real thing,’ said Hamilton, adding that a piece of costume jewelry can be worth more than a diamond.”
