“Indianapolis Police officer John Schneider, 38, has a wife, two kids and a house in the suburbs.
He also has some 200 GI Joes — and counting. He had Joes as a child, but it wasn’t until he reached adulthood that he started acquiring them in earnest. So far this year he has added about two dozen of the 12-inch plastic ‘action figures’ (GI Joe aficionados never say ‘doll’). Some he buys new; others he gets from other collectors.”
