“Almost everyone has a pocket knife or two, perhaps even a straight razor, lurking in a dresser drawer or storage area. The big question is whether older knives and razors have any real value.
The value of knives has soared in recent years. For example, a Kane whittler, Bradford pattern, Tested XX doctor’s knife and 2-blade MFB in bone currently sell well above $1,000. Victorian-era straight razors, which sold in the $15-$25 range only a few short years ago, have more than tripled in value.”
