“THEY may have been gathering dust in the attic for years – but old picture postcards of Manchester could net a small fortune.
Leading auctioneers Warwick & Warwick plan to hold valuations in the region and are looking out especially for industrial views such as coalmines and canals.
Valuer Colin Such said: “Many people don’t realise that collections of old postcards can be quite valuable, especially animated street scenes with trams, early motor cars and industrial views. ”
