“Recently, a woman listed a 1924 John Davis presidential candidate button for sale on eBay, Warda said. She expected about $1,000 to help pay her daughter’s college tuition. Instead, she received $56,000.
‘It was only the second one known to exist,’ Warda said.
Buttons are the most popular collectible, he said. Even recent buttons – if colorful and unique – can go for high prices.”
