Firm seeks out rare documents for individuals, businesses, museums

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, John Adams, Frederick Douglass, Susan B. Anthony and Horace Greeley are just a few of the hundreds of authors of historical documents that Kaller has handled, bought and sold.

Kaller is an agent – a go-between – for a client seeking to own a piece of history. And history can be expensive; $1.5 million for a rare printed copy of The Emancipation Proclamation, which called for the abolishment of slavery and set the stage for the 13th Amendment.”
