“A jersey worn by Roger Maris during his record-breaking 61st home run game was sold for $302,000 yesterday at an auction to an unidentified collector.
Maris broke Babe Ruth’s single-season home run record against the Boston Red Sox on Oct. 1, 1961, at Yankee Stadium in the final game of the regular season. ”
