‘Star Wars’ fuels new merchandise frenzy

“- Wal-Mart’s Early Bird Certificate Package.

– Target’s Darth Vader with lava reflection action figure.

– Toys ‘R’ Us’s Holographic Yoda action figure.

…Just because something says “Star Wars” on it doesn’t mean it will be worth something down the road, says Jeremy Beckett, author of the newly updated “The Official Price Guide to Star Wars Memorabilia” (House of Collectibles, $17.95).
…Of all the new “Revenge of the Sith” toys, Beckett recommends buying the highly detailed 12-inch dolls, which sell for $19.99 each, for future investment.”
