Norcross firm is collectors’ friend

‘Star Wars’ collectors love to see Darth Vader imprisoned in acrylic and stamped with a Norcross company’s hologram.

That stamp of approval from the company, Action Figure Authority, helped secure a bid of more than $6,000 on eBay recently for a mint-condition, vintage toy of the villain from 1978.

…”People are thinking about toys as an investment,” said Derby, who followed the $6,000 Vader sale. “Action figures are a fast-growing market.””
